Reinsurers

IRM has access to reinsurance capacity through some of the most successful and solid reinsurance companies in the world. At present, IRM maintains business relationships with Munich Reinsurance Company, Canada Branch; BF&M Life Insurance Company Limited, Bermuda, and Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited, Trinidad & Tobago. 

By entering into Underwriting Management Agreements with these companies, IRM is authorized to effect, on their behalf, Health, Group Life, and Personal Accident Reinsurance; while providing them with technical and administrative services including: Actuarial, Underwriting, Marketing, Reinsurance Contract Management, Claims Management and Accounting.

Munich Reinsurance Company is the lead reinsurer for all of the Caribbean business managed by IRM while BF&M Life Insurance Company and Guardian Life of the Caribbean Limited are the lead reinsurers for Latin America and other markets.
